MichatoLab Jawline Light
Product detailed description
Jawline LIGHT: a 14 kg jaw trainer built for beginners
Modern food asks almost nothing of your jaw. Everything is soft, everything is quick, and the muscles that shape the lower third of your face barely get used. Jawline LIGHT gives them something to work against. You place it between your front teeth, bite down and push through the resistance of the silicone.
At 14 kg it is the gentlest level we offer, and that is exactly the point. An untrained muscle needs time to adapt, so starting here means you build the habit and the technique before you add load.
Who the 14 kg level is for
Three groups, mainly. Complete beginners who need to learn the movement without risking an overloaded joint. People already past that stage who want a level light enough to use daily without fatigue. And anyone coming back after a long break, where easing in beats picking up where you left off.
Once 14 kg stops feeling like work, move up to Jawline PRO at 23 kg.
How to train with it
Keep the first sessions short. Two to three minutes is enough to see how your muscles respond. Mild tension across the cheeks the following day is normal and settles within a day or two.
Work your way up to five to ten minutes a day, ideally split into shorter sets with a pause between them. Chew smoothly and under control rather than fast and snapping. Take at least one rest day a week, because muscle grows during recovery, not during the session.
This is not a matter of days. Visible change usually takes six to twelve weeks of consistent training, and how quickly it arrives depends on your starting point, your genetics and your body fat percentage.
What actually happens when you train
The muscle doing the work is the masseter. Relative to its size it is one of the strongest muscles in the human body, and like every other muscle it grows in response to consistent load. As the masseter thickens, the jaw angle becomes more pronounced and the line running from ear to chin reads more sharply.
It is worth being clear about the limits. A jaw trainer will not burn fat under the chin, change your bone structure, or substitute for losing weight. It works on muscle, not on the layer sitting above it, which is why the best results show up in people who pair it with sensible eating and general fitness.
Material and build
The trainer is made from 100% food-grade silicone with no fillers. It flexes, springs back, and stays kind to tooth enamel through months of repeated compression. It will not crumble or leach colour, and warm water with a drop of washing-up liquid is all the cleaning it needs.
It measures 3.8 × 3 × 3.5 cm and weighs just 30 grams, so it disappears into a pocket. Most people end up training in the car, at their desk, or on the walk home, and nobody around them notices.
Why people choose the LIGHT model
- A safe entry point: lower resistance means less strain on the jaw joint while you learn.
- Honest material: food-grade silicone that is gentle on enamel.
- Discreet: 30 grams and small enough to hide in your hand.
- Low time cost: a few minutes a day, no other equipment.
- Room to progress: the 23 kg PRO version is waiting when you are ready.
Questions we get asked
Can I use it with braces or crowns?
Ask your dentist or orthodontist first. Repeated pressure on crowns, bridges or fixed appliances is not something we can assess remotely, and they can tell you in a minute.
How do I clean it?
Rinse under warm water after each session, wash it with ordinary washing-up liquid now and then, and let it air dry. Keep it out of the dishwasher and do not boil it for long periods.
Will my face swell up afterwards?
Mild tightness or fatigue in the cheeks after early sessions is ordinary, the same as with any new exercise. Persistent pain, clicking in the joint or difficulty opening your mouth is not, and means you should stop.
How many days a week should I train?
Four to six days a week strikes a sensible balance between progress and recovery. Training every single day without a break tends to fatigue the muscle rather than build it.
Important notice
